No frills. Just a really good value pasty, which was packed full of excellent steak - perfect pastry. Take away, and go down and eat by the harbour.

Stumbled across this cafe whilst on holiday. Popular with locals and tourists alike. Welcome friendly service and I ordered a sandwich that was not on the menu and they were more than able to accommodate. I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich, my other half had a latte and said it was ok but lacked coffee taste. This said, I really enjoyed the food and service at a very good price. Thank you.

The best pasties in Cornwall, always freshly cooked and we enjoyed an afternoon tea deal that was exceptionally good value!

Absolutely outstanding pasties. We are a family of pasty connosours For over 35 years we have been visiting Cornwall, staying in Hayle and therefore we are big fans of the famous Philps Bakery. Today we visited Mounts Bay Pasty Company in Penzance. We were welcomed by two really friendly ladies, one who had not long returned from maternity leave (sorry didn't catch your name) We purchased two standards, a steak and stilton, a lamb and mint and a sausage roll. These came with free doughnuts and cookies! I have to say, these are outstanding and I have to say, they even beat Philps! The pasty was so tasty and buttery but not too flaky. Really fairly priced and so delicious I don't know which I liked the best. We will almost certainly be back!

Lovely cafe on Market Jew Street just up from the harbour. Originally popped in looking for a Cornish Pasty but then got distracted by breakfast Options were for Small, Large, and Extra Large. I stuck in the middle instead of choosing the breakfast to match my burgeoning waist line For £8.75 I was treated to a plate filled with “2 Bacon, 2 Sausage, 2 eggs, 2 hash brown, 2 toast, mushrooms, beans” tomatoes was an option Alternatively my partner in dine had a more simple plate of Bacon (x3) and Eggs (x2) for just £6.15. I let them have some of my toast, a bit of sausage and a hash brown Very decent breakfast, sausage was excellent, a proper butcher effort. Bacon was cheap but crisped well. Eggs cooked properly although yolks a little pale, generous portion of mushrooms, well prepared beans both standard plate fillers as expected. Hash browns cheap but crispy, toast a little pale but as used for plate moppage was perfectly acceptable for the job in hand Definitely would come here again, cheap enough, very friendly and popular amongst the locals which is always a good sign

My last meal on my holiday in Cornwall was this lovely pasty from this local pasty shop! I loved it! Even came with a cookie !! Lovely guy running the shop too
